Renovation of an educational facility in Danville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 30,000-square-foot educational facility.
Technology Complex Roof Re-Cover 1. Base Bid: Re-cover of approximately 30,000 sf of existing roofing systems (Roofs A,B,C1,C2 & F) including installation of new single-ply roofing systems including EPDM membrane, coverboard, accessories, flashings, and modification of existing rooftop mechanical equipment and curbs 2. Alternate Bid #1: Replacement of (3) existing rooftop condensing units and associated evaporator coils, air handling units and piping below roof. 3. Alternate Bid #2: All work assocated with Roof D on drawings and specified in the project manual. 4. Alternate Bid # 3: All work assocated with Roof E on drawings and specified in the project manual. Bidders will be required to provide a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5% of the Bid Amount. 100% Performance/Payment Bond will be required. PREVAILING WAGES: Contractors will be required to comply with all laws, including those relating to prevailing rate of wages of the various classes of work to be performed under the proposed contract as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, in accordance with Federal Labor Standards provisions, US Department of Labor. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
