This project is for the excavation and placing of capping material for the former waste disposal areas located at the Town of Gravelbourg Landfill, located in NE-01-11-05-W3M. The following is a brief description of the major components of the work and the approximate quantities: - Strip and Stockpile Topsoil and Subsoil (Borrow Area) - Fence Removal and Disposal - Temporary Fencing - Excavate and Place Leveling Material (Inert Waste) - Excavate, Haul, and Place Leveling Material (Borrow) - Excavate, Haul, Place, and Compact Caly Barrier Material - Excavate, Haul, and Place Subsoil Material - Haul and Place Topsoil at 0.15 m Thickness - Supply and Place Topsoil at 0.15 m Thickness - Seeding Agreement Type: NWPTA A Performance Guarantee and Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the contract price and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond in an amount equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the contract price will be required from the successful bidder. Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the tender price, payable to the Northwest Regional Waste Management Authority. Further, the Tender containing the lowest price will not necessarily be accepted by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right in its discretion to reject or accept any and all Tenders, irrespective of whether such Tenders are compliant with, and meet, the requirements of the Tender Documents, and the Owner shall not be obliged to reject or accept any Tender regardless of whether it is the lowestclose compliant Tender, or otherwise.
