The Town is undertaking traffic related studies at four (4) sites. These studies will examine aspects of level of service for each intersection, provide recommendations for modifications, signal infrastructure, intersection conceptual layout, and high level cost estimates. In addition, the Town is developing a warrant criteria and procedure for the school crossing guard program. The studies are: Project 1: Conduct a traffic signal warrant study at D'Arcy Street and University Avenue Project 2: Conduct a traffic signal warrant study at D'Arcy Street and Elgin Street Project 3: Conduct a study to determine the level of service at King Street East and Brook Road North in consideration of intersection and signal improvements Project 4: Conduct a 'train the trainer' workshop with Town Staff and a prepare a crossing guard warrant criteria and procedure Project 5: Conduct a warrant study at University Avenue and Division Street in consideration of a north/south left turn signal
