Description

Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.

Subject project calls for a proposal to provide design services, and all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to renovate the interior of the 2nd floor north wing of Hangar Y, Facility 01115. The facility is comprised of a high bay area with two-story administrative areas located on the north and south sides (wings). The renovation scope entails construction on the second floor north side section of the building only, impacting approximately 3,598 SF (7.4%) of this 48,578 SF facility. The renovation includes but is not limited to the removal of wall partitions, the removal and replacement of existing finishes, the removal and replacement of the existing ceiling system, the renovation of the restrooms, and the addition of a break room with a full refrigerator and dish washer. The renovation will create an open office workspace while refreshing the finishes and updating all systems to meet current code. As part of the 100% design documents (for Construction), the Contractor shall provide construction drawings, specifications and design analysis for the renovation on the 2nd floor north section of Hangar Y in order to provide the government a complete and usable facility in accordance with the project drawings and specific on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), FL.
