Request is for work removing rubber from two runways. Pressure wash method is typically used. The airport is hoping to complete services by end of September 2023 in order for another project to begin on the runways. In the absence of other contractual terms, payment shall be due 30 days after receipt of proper invoice, or material/service, whichever is the later. In case of default by the successful bidder, or failure to deliver the supplies or services ordered by the time specified, the Commission, after due notice (oral or in writing), may procure them from other sources and hold vendor responsible for any excess cost occasioned thereby. No substitution, change or deviation shall be made without written authority from the Commission by Purchase Order Change. Vendors and Contractors providing goods to the Commission under this order herewith assure the Commission that they are conforming to the provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended, as well as the Virginia Fair Employment Contracting Act of 1975 as amended, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 as amended, where applicable, the Virginians With Disabilities Act and the Americans With Disabilities Act. The Capital Region Airport Commission reserves the right to conduct any test/inspection it may deem advisable to assure supplies and services conform to the specification. A purchase order or contract may be terminated for the convenience of the Commission by delivering to the Contractor a notice of termination specifying the extent to which performance under the purchase order or contract is terminated, and the date of termination. After receipt of a notice of termination, the Contractor must stop work or deliveries under the purchase order or contract on the date and to the extent specified. During the performance of this PO the contractor/vendor agrees to comply with all Federal, state and local laws respecting discrimination in employment and nonsegregation of facilities including, but not limited to, requirements set out at 41 CFR 60-1.4, 60-250.5, 60-300.5, 60-741.5, and 61-250.10 which equal opportunity clauses and reporting requirements are hereby incorporated by reference.
