All pre-bid requests for information (RFI) must be submitted in writing no later than Monday, September 18th, 2023, by 2:00 PM EST, prior to when bids are due. Upon receipt of any written requests for information, an addendum will be issued to all potential bidders and posted to the Providence Housing Authority's website. It is the responsibility of any and all bidders to consult the undermentioned website for the complete Invitation for Bids and any addendums prior to submitting bids. Detailed information regarding the work encompassed under this project is provided in the Scope of Work section of this Invitation for Bid. Address all pre-bid questions or requests for information (RFIs) pertaining to the project and bid documents to the Providence Housing Authority's Sr. Project Manager, Jeffrey Bent, via email at jbent@provhousing.org with a CC to Dan Wall at The Garland Company at dwall@garlandind.com Today, the PHA provides affordable housing to more than 12,000 residents in the City of Providence. We administer 2,606 public housing units that are home to about 5,613 residents - making us one of the largest landlords in the State. Units are designated as elderly/disabled, family, and scattered sites developments. We also oversee the administration of more than 2,700 tenant-based and project-based Section 8 vouchers, most of which allow low-income families to rent in the private market and host a variety of support programs to help our residents and participants meet their wellness, financial, and employment goals no matter what their age or ability. In addition to in-house services, the PHA provides a wide array of referrals to partners across the state.
