The Contractor shall perform all Work within the time stipulated in the Contract, and shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility services, and transportation to complete all of the Work required in strict compliance with the Contract Documents as specified in Article 5, below, for the following Project East Side Slurry (Zone F) Salida Del Sol and Cerro Vista Drive, DPW 23-24 The Contractor and its surety shall be liable to the City for any damages arising as a result of the Contractors failure to comply with this obligation. Following the closure of the bid submittal period, bids will be publicly opened and read for performing work as follows: Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction of the project known as East Side Slurry (Zone F) Salida Del Sol and Cerro Vista Drive, DPW Project No. 23-24, according to drawings and specifications prepared by the City of El Paso de Robles and according to the Contract Documents. The work shall include but is not limited to, the application of Type II Slurry and new Pavement markings as shown on the plans. Project is to be completed within Thirty (30) WORKING days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall pay to the City of El Paso de Robles the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), for each and every calendar days delay in finishing the work in excess of the calendar day completion time.
