City of Climax City Council is seeking written Proposals from qualified vendors to repave Church Street (1389.40 feet x 20 feet), Bradley Street (1091.00 feet x 20 feet), and a section of Bert Phillips Road (344 feet x 20 feet) in Climax, GA. Each paving needs to be 2 inches thick. There is a section of Bradley Street where tree roots are pushing up the pavement. Please Call Greg at 229-400-2848 to schedule a site visit. Monday through Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm. Closed on Fridays. Responder must have minimum Worker's Comp and General Liability Insurance in full force and effect. No Proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Respondent holds any and all necessary or required Federal, State or local licenses and/or permits. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 13-10-91, all contractors and sub-contractors performing work within the State of Georgia on a contract with a public employer must register and participate in a federal work authorization (E-verify). The City of Climax will require certification from the Respondent that this requirement has been met. Each Respondent shall submit with its Proposal a copy of current Business License and/or Occupational Tax Certificate issued in the state of Georgia. If Respondent cannot provide this License, it will be required to obtain one before it is awarded this contract. The Qualifications of the Respondent will be reviewed before the Award of the Contract. The City of Climax reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive formalities, technicalities, or irregularities and to re-advertise if necessary. The contract between the City of Climax and the selected responder shall be subject to the payment agreement drawn up between the City of Climax and the selected responder. Any Proposal submitted in response to this Request shall remain open for acceptance by the Council, and same shall be honored by the contractor, for a period of thirty (30) days from the date set forth hereinabove for the receipt of Proposals.
