Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in South Boston, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of South Boston (Town) has been awarded funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) for the Riverdale Acquisition Project designed to dedicate the land to open space use as part of the community's ongoing flood control mitigation efforts. The Town has acquired the properties and associated structures and plans to demolish and remove each along with the related asphalt and concrete. Prospective Bidders may examine or obtain copies of the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Offices on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
