The City of Wapakoneta is seeking cost proposals for the purchase and installation of two institutional outdoor pool heaters. The heaters will serve two community outdoor pools including: a lap pool and a zero-entry activity pool. The high-performance gas fired heaters will replace two existing heaters that are installed in an indoor underground maintenance area of the Water Park and have been in service for several years. Minimum 1,000,000 btu for the outdoor lap pool and 1,500,000 btu for the zero-entry activity pool o Reliable operation on natural gas o Electronic indoor spark ignition o Built-in draft diverter for indoor models o Flow switch standard on all models. o Recommended integral pump for efficient water flow o Automatic gas valve o Durable galvanized steel jacket with acrylic finish o High temperature refractory firebox liner w/integral lined copper tube heat exchanger o Electronic temperature control o Touch screen control panel, including screen diagnostics o Automatic mixing system to include: automatic three-way valve, electronic actuator, factory mounted and wired pump, and a system monitoring operating control o Backwash Switch for filter backwashing the filter during pump time delay o Reversible vent and intake air terminals o Gas supply right or left side o Reversible water connections o Separate field-wiring terminal panel o Quick-access panel for igniter replacement o Combustion chamber sight glasses on both right and left sides o Applicability with outdoor air source combustion o Minimum one-year limited warranty.
