The City of Yazoo City is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms or individuals to provide engineering services pertaining to the use of eligible funds that have been provided under the Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure Grant Program (MCWI) as well as other projects that might be funded under federal or non-federal programs. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. It is anticipated that the MCWI funds available to the City will mainly be used for stormwater drainage infrastructure needs. Yazoo City is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages Minority Owned and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MBEs & WBEs) to submit qualifications The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all SOQs received. The project(s) may include, but are not limited to, the following professional services: 1. Preliminary engineering analysis 2. Topographic and boundary surveys 3. Preliminary and final engineering design 4. Assistance with bidding and procurement of contractor(s) in conformance with applicable federal requirements. Services under this item will include assistance with: a. Bid advertising b. Bid opening and bid tabulation c. Recommendation of award d. Pre-Construction conference and Notice to Proceed 5. Construction Administration 6. On-site construction observation 7. Review and recommendation of payment by Town 8. Conduct and oversee final inspection.
