Site work for a water / sewer project in Williston, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Project Description: Work will consist of removing the old Simplex lift station components including wet well cover with hatch, vent pipe, pump, guide rail system, valves, pipe, floats and control panel. The contractor will be responsible for disposal per all state and federal laws. The contractor will also be responsible for removal and cleaning of sewage that can't be pumped out. The wet well base, barrel, inlets and outlets to be reused. New components of the system should include pump, stainless steel guide rail system, stainless steel lifting chain, concrete cover with hatch and vent pipe, valves, pipe, floats and control panel. Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is less than $45,000. This is a construction contract to provide labor, new equipment, and materials for the Williston Resource Office lift station repair. Services include removal and disposal of existing equipment that is specified in this contract for replacement. Contractor will also be responsible for cleaning of the lift station before work is performed. The following items are to be replaced and tested. a. Control panel with heater, control cables, and mounting posts b. Conduit between control panel and equipment cables to the lift station wet well c. Guide rails and pump supports d. 2" schedule 80 PVC discharge piping, fittings, check valve, and plug/ball valve to be attached at the inside of the lift station wet well to the force main connected to the City of Williston sewer system. e. 2 HP sewage grinder pump, 230 volt single phase, 30 GPM at 100 feet of head with lifting chain and minimum of 20 feet of cord. f. Lifting chain, floats, and float support pipe g. Wet well concrete cover with 24"x30" aluminum hatch, hinged and lockable aluminum grating panel for fall protection, vent pipe and 2" conduit penetration through concrete (not through hatch). The government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn is responsible to the government. This is a fixed priced, -based service contract where the government defines and measures desired outcomes, while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed.
