It is the expectation of The City that the contractor will start clearing their route when directed to by The City, as noted by call-out correspondence. All routes may contain a combination of pathways, sidewalks, and traffic islands. 53 routes are pathway routes (Schedule 1), 60 routes are sidewalk routes (Schedule 2) The City of Calgary Snow and Ice Control Program for Pathways and Sidewalks Provide an operator and machine for the displacement of snow and ice off The City's pathways, sidewalks and traffic islands. Successful proponent will be responsible for the following on call activities: -Displacement of snow and ice off of the pathway, and traffic island surfaces -Completion of daily timesheets This RFP is applicable to 113 different routes. Award will be made to the highest rated proponents. Respondents may submit a proposal for one, multiple, or all routes.
