The City is accepting formal proposals to hire a qualified Contractor to construct Crown Farm Park, a 2.99-acre community park located at 415 Decoverly Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878. A. The scope includes reviewing all general conditions, plans and specifications for developing a comprehensive understanding of the work involved. The Contractor shall provide the Services in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. In the event of any conflict between the Plans and Specifications and the Scope of Work herein, the Plans and Specifications shall govern subject to City Project Manager's approval. B. Demolition scope includes but is not limited to removing existing concrete and asphalt pads/roads, removal of the Machine Shed and Metal Grain Bin, and removal of identified trees and overgrown vegetation as shown in the Plans and Specifications. C. Civil and general construction work scope includes, but is not limited to, re-grading the site and constructing new stormwater structures and new walkways. D. Landscape work includes, but is not limited to, amending soil, planting new trees and other plant materials, installation of grass turf as per the landscape plans and specifications, and trimming existing trees as per the construction documents.
