Architectural and Engineering Services NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Greater Wilkes Barre Chamber of Business and Industry (the Chamber), pursuant to a fair and open process, is seeking proposals from qualified firms with considerable knowledge and experience in federal and state contracts to provide Engineering and Design Services for the Greater Wilkes Barre Chamber of Business and Industry Renovations Project. A. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit interest from qualified firms and/or individuals to provide Professional Services to design, engineer, and construct/renovate an existing facility. A qualified firm and/or individual will be selected through a fair and open process at the sole discretion of the Chamber. B. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Chamber has acquired a vacant, three-story commercial building with a total gross building area of approximately 6,900 sq. ft. and situated on 0.14 acres, located at 35 E. Northampton Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The Chamber is interested in designs for possible renovations to this building to accommodate offices for the Chamber and related entities. Possible renovation options include floor finishes, paint and wall coverings, light fixtures and structural changes to meet current and future expected needs. C. PROCEDURES FOR RESPONDING TO REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: 1. One copy of the proposal must be provided in PDF format. Proposals must be submitted to the Greater Wilkes Barre Chamber of Business and Industry. Proposals must be submitted with "Architectural and Engineering Services" with the Proposing Company Name as the subject line. The Chamber assumes no responsibility for delays in any service causing the submission to be received after the above-referenced due date and time. Submissions by fax or telephone are not permitted. The final selection will be made at the sole discretion of the Board. Interested offerors may submit a request for proposal documentation via email to ecodev@wyomingvalleychamber.org. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
