General Scope. 9th CES/CEOR is seeking contractor to install at grade manways and waterproof covers to prohibit rainwater and ground water from entering the Underground Storage Tanks (UST) sumps. Additionally, all technicians furnished by the contractor shall be individually certified and hold applicable International Code Council (ICC) certificates. the contractor will provide and install ALL components to execute the scope of work as follows: a. Prior to work execution, contractor shall coordinate fuel/power outages with the 9th Force Support Squadron and the 9th Civil Engineer Squadron as necessary. b. Contractor shall provide catch controls around work site to prevent erosion of materials into adjacent creeks. c. Any and all soil WILL be tested by the contractor prior to disposal or reuse. d. Saw cut six (6) each 5-foot x 5-foot around the three turbine sumps and fill sumps; provide demo and hauling of concrete. e. Place #4 rebar 18" on center each way and pour back concrete as needed. f. Install OPW Sump Kits & Water Shroud, OPW spill buckets, and 71S0-410C OPW shut off valves, caps, swivel adapters and new at grade OPW Fiberlite series multiport manways. g. Install Bravo Snap Lock Top Hats and OPW Fiberlite series manways over turbine sumps. h. Provide Spill bucket testing and OPI inspections. i. Obtain UST Repair permit from CUPA & BAAQMD. Finally, the contractor shall provide applicable notifications to all regulatory agencies as required by law to perform afore mentioned compliance testing. B. Authorized Work. Work shall be accomplished in accordance with all contractually incorporated documents. Any work that is accomplished outside of the contractual documents, unless authorized by a contracting officer, is accomplished at the contractor's own risk. C. All work shall be accomplished between 0700-1700 Mon-Fri. D. All contractor vehicles must enter the base via the Wheatland Gate and shall be subject to inspection. All contractor personnel must obtain base passes or be listed on the Entry Access List (EAL) throughout duration of work performance. Any persons in the EAL are required to bring two (2) forms of identification or REAL ID in order to access the base. E. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and local NEC construction standards. Current Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards and COVID-19 safety regulations also apply. F. Contractor shall be in compliance IAW all NFPA, AFI, UFC and ETL standards for fire safety. G. All metal and equipment recycling will be disposed of on base to the 9 CES Recycle yard, all other waste material is to be removed off base by the Contractor, POC: Shane Morris at 530- 634-0744 or shane.morris.5@us.af.mil.
