Site work for a road / highway in East Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
East Rochester would like to demolish two existing structures at their existing Department of Public Works Campus located at 200 Ontario Street. The first structure, identified as Building #1, is their existing storage garage located east of the main entry grate which was previously used as the main DPW facility building. The proposed work would include the removal of the entire structure, additions, concrete pads, and foundations. The existing building construction consists of concrete block walls, interior wood patricians, metal and asphalt roofing, concrete pad, and poured concrete foundation to a maximum estimated depth of 5 feet. Demolition of Building #1 is the highest priority to be completed by October 6, 2023 to facilitate construction of a new pole barn. The second structure, identified as Building #2, are portions of the former wastewater treatment plant and associated tanks located on the south portion of the property. The proposed work would include the removal of all above ground structures including steel framing, concrete slabs, masonry walls, and foundations to a maximum estimated depth of 5 feet. Demolition of Building #2 to be completed by November 17, 2023
