Testing showed no asbestos was present. 1.4 Furnish and Install R-30 un-faced insulation (or approved equal) above existing ceiling joists. 1.5 Furnish and Install 4 Mil visqueen vapor barrier, fastened to bottom of existing ceiling joist. 1.6 Frame new opening to gain access above ceiling for maintenance 22.5"x54" location of access to be coordinated on site with City of Columbus. Access cover to be of same material as ceiling. 1.7 Trim access opening and perimeter as required. 1.8 Furnish and Install 36" wide White Metal Siding Panels (29 Gauge or approved equal) over existing ceiling joists. 1.9 There is one electrical lighting box that will remain in ceiling. To be blanked off by City of Columbus maintenance staff once new ceiling is completed. 1.10 There are a few conduits temporarily attached to ceiling joists. Detaching and re-securing these conduits will be performed by City of Columbus maintenance staff and will need to be coordinated with contractor. 1.11 Remove (4) existing Windows as required for new louvers on the East side of the booster station. Rework openings as required to accept louvers. 1.12 Furnish and Install (4) 120V actuated United Enertech AFL-D-4 29" x 69" (or approved equal) front flange, mil finished louvers with insect screens. 1.13 City of Columbus maintenance staff will provide power, control, and wiring to actuators. 1.14 Work must be performed in a timely manner as to be minimal disturbance to operations and follow specifications as explained. Booster station consist of 3 booster pumps that shall maintain normal operations with no disruptions.
