General Contractors are invited to complete the pre-qualification process for the construction of a Water Treatment Plant Upgrade for the Bigstone Cree Nation. The work includes: .1 Construction of a water treatment plant expansion and upgrade, including a 250 sq.m. building over a 380 cu.m. concrete reservoir; .2 Supply, installation and commissioning of treatment, pumping, mechanical and electrical equipment; .3 Construction of an access road and truck fill station; .4 Modifications to the existing water treatment plant including decommissioning of existing mechanical and electrical equipment and demolition of a portion of the building and reservoir; .5 Construction of a 23,500 cu.m. raw water storage reservoir, including connecting structures, HDPE liner, aeration system expansion and perimeter fencing; .6 Installation of HDPE treated water mains; .7 Installation of HDPE effluent force main, connecting to the low pressure system; .8 Landscaping, hardscaping, and fencing of the site; .9 Clean up of site; and .10 Repair of defects in workmanship and / or materials for a period of two years after completion of the work.
