The Contractor Shall: Task 1 - Foundation Repair Area Evaluate foundation to note existing conditions. o Measure and record current elevation readings. o Provide detailed engineering review to NWS. o Repair the foundation by use of industry standards such as mud-jacking or piling installation. (Approx. 40 LF.) o Install root barrier as needed to dam further growth of tree roots. (Approx. 30' radius) o The contractor shall ensure the proper elevation of the foundation once work is completed. Task 2 - Sidewalk Lifting Repair o Evaluate sidewalks and landings to note existing conditions. o Elevate concrete to original position by means of poly-lift type injections or complete removal and replacement. If removal and replacement is chosen use rebar dowels drilled into existing concrete. o Insure finish elevation is flush with adjoining and adjacent concrete to alleviate trip hazards. o Install expansion joint and sealant as needed.
