Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Irwin, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work for Contract 4/2023 will consist of: the contractor milling one parking lot to resurface with a level course and wearing course of approximately 1700 sq. yards, storm inlet upgrade, new light fixtures, poles, and line painting. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bidders Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of Irwin Borough. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are applicable to these projects. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with Borough of Irwin. Irwin Borough Manager and Council reserves the right to reject any of all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. These projects are being financed (in part) by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Agency.
