The City of San Antonio (City) Public Works Department is seeking an experienced Construction Manager at Risk CMAR firm (Respondent) with demonstrated technical capabilities and civil construction experience to provide Pre-Construction and Construction services for the Hemisfair Boulevard Phase 3 Project and Marbach Road Area Streets/Area Drainage (Loop 410 to Horal Street) Project. The CMAR firm will be integrated into a city-led team as part of a progressive Construction Manager at Risk delivery method. The operational complexity of these projects will require the CMAR to provide specific expertise and specialty technical services for the project to be successful. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first of a two-phase solicitation process. Through the first phase of the solicitation process, the City anticipates shortlisting up to five (5) CMAR firms for each project, that submit responses to this RFQ. The City reserves the right to shortlist fewer teams, depending on qualifications. Only the shortlisted Respondents will be eligible to participate in the second phase of the solicitation process, which will be initiated by the City' st for proposals (RFP) and may include other procurement-related activities as will be described in the RFP.
