The Veterans Benefits Administration, Houston, TX Regional Office, Office of Internal Government (OIG) is seeking the services of a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that will provide materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision. Contractor shall completely prepare for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the interior renovation and refinishing of the OIG Houston VARO Space Renovation as required by drawings and specifications. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE 100% SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. Offices of Spur Design, as Architect-Engineers, will render certain technical services during construction. Such services shall be considered as advisory to the Government and shall not be construed as expressing or implying a contractual act of the Government without affirmations by the VBA Contract Officer or their duly authorized representative. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $44M. All work shall be completed within Three Hundred Ninety (390) calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This includes final inspection, punch-list, and clean-up. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicitation will be posted on/about August 24th, 2023. A pre-proposal walk-through will be held on or about one week after the posting of the solicitation. These dates are estimates. The actual dates will be stated in the solicitation. The Online Representations and Certifications (SAM) must be completed by each firm submitting a proposal prior to the due date. Important Notice: Apparent successful offeror must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offeror must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises at the time of submission of proposal. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz at the time of proposal submission will result in the offeror's proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the aforementioned required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
