Site work for a water / sewer project in Midlothian, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project's base bid involves constructing water and sanitary sewer lines at six (6) different project sites and three (3) Additive Alt. Bids. project sites: 9th Street and Alabama, Mockingbird Ln, Ave H and Railway Ave, 8th Street Alley, 5th Street Alley, 13th Street Alley, 9th Street And Cemetery Ln (Additive Alt. Bid), W. Main Street and 6th Street Alley (Additive Alt. Bid), and 5th Street and Meadowcrest (Additive Alt. Bid). Between the nine sites, approximately 2035 linear feet total of 8-inch water line, 40 linear feet total of 6-inch water line, 525 linear feet of 16-inch water line, 2525 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer line, and 2625 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer may be installed. Bid security in the form of Cashier's Check, Bid Bond or other negotiable instrument in the amount of 5% of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds and insurance as outlined in the specifications and Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality in connection therewith
