The Housing Authority of the City of Haltom City, Texas (Hereinafter Called the "Pha") Will Receive Sealed Bids for a Single Construction Contract for the Roof Renovation Including Demolition and All Work Specified Due to the nature of the work, a feasible description of every item on-site requiring demolition or removal may not be available; therefore, visitation of the site prior to submitting proposals may be necessary by the Bidders. Bidders should carefully examine the site, as well as the portions of the work specified and indicated for removal or demolition and the scope and extent of the work involved. During the examination of the sites, the Contractor shall determine the total extent of the work as required. PROTECTION OF SITE All existing work or construction specified shall be fully protected from damage from all causes under this operation, as well as items indicated or required remaining intact and/or removed and reinstalled, whether such demolition or removal is done prior to or during construction operations. The Contractor shall be responsible for all damages to the existing work scheduled, indicated, or required as remaining in-place, as well as additional costs of patching or replacing. The work of demolition shall be executed in a careful and systematic manner with the least possible disturbance to the public and occupants, as well as their personal possessions.
