Project Overview: The Owen County Community Foundation has developed plans for the development of the Spencer - Owen Co. My Path Trail at 788 Pottersville Rd., Spencer, IN 47460. The trail begins at the existing trailhead adjacent to the Owen County Soil and Water Conservation District Office at 788 Pottersville Rd., Spencer, IN 47460 and ends in the northwest corner of the White River Public Access Site at 1415 River Rd., Spencer, IN 47460. Full construction of the trail is being completed in two (2) bid packages, which are defined and outlined as follows: Division A: Spencer - Owen Co. My Path Trail: Construction of the My Path Trail and Trailhead Division B: My Path Trail Bridge: Relocation and rehabilitation of an existing pratt truss pony bridge (Owen Co. Bridge 66) or installation of a prefabricated bridge structure for use as a pedestrian crossing. Contractors can bid on either or both of the above divisions. If bidding on both, two (2) separate bids must be submitted. Base Bid: Plans call for the construction of the My Path Trail, Trailhead and amenities. Bids shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and specifications, including clean-up and disposal of all materials. The Contractor who is awarded the bid will be responsible for ensuring these measures are met. The Project will be constructed in two (2) prime contracts, which is outlined in the construction documents and specifications.
