This project will help identify feasible roadway safety improvement projects and strategies within the study area. The City of Roswell is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consultant teams to complete a comprehensive roadway Safety Action Plan for the City of Roswell, NM. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to select an Offeror(s) to create a robust Safety Action Plan for the Roswell, NM study area. This project will help identify feasible roadway safety improvement projects and strategies within the study area. The final Safety Action Plan document will be a resource for future improvements in the community as well as future funding opportunities such as the SS4A Implementation Plan Grant Program or any other qualifying federal safety grant program. The objective(s) of this solicitation is creation of a comprehensive safety action plan for the City of Roswell, NM. A comprehensive safety action plan (CSAP) is a way to prioritize safety improvements and justify investment decisions within area jurisdictions. This project is intended to help reduce roadway fatalities and serious injury cases within the study area. This plan is intended to serve as the basic building block to improve roadway safety by reducing serious injury and fatal crashes, communicating and collaborating with stakeholders and community members, and providing information on funding opportunities.
