Contractor shall facilitate the removal of woody debris located at an ODOT stockpile site at I5 NB exit 191 and Glenwood Blvd. There is an estimated 12,000 cubic yards of debris to be removed. It is highly recommended that the Bidder visit the site to assess the quantity of debris to be removed. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the efficient and effective removal, disposal, and reduction of all debris. Substantial Completion Date: December 22, 2023 Final Completion Date: December 29, 2023 Since actual damage will be difficult to determine, it is agreed that CONTRACTOR shall pay to OWNER, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, $600.00 per calendar day for each day elapsed in excess of the Substantial Completion date Owner reserves the right in its sole discretion to not withhold retainage from progress payments or to begin withholding retainage at any time. There is no pre-bid conference.
