Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to support and supplement the work of the SPU Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Design Section (CIP Design) in providing engineering services for project delivery and project support across the Drainage and Wastewater Line of Business, Water Line of Business, and Solid Waste Line of Business. The consultant team will assist CIP Design in meeting work demands by supplementing technical skill sets and/or provide capacity for in-house design work. SPU will procure one or more On-Call Contracts for consultant teams to provide engineering design support primarily for options analysis, design, and construction. The combined total estimated contract amount will be $4.5 million for all work assigned under this contract. Conract(s) will be a multi-year On-Call; a specific delivery schedule is not known at this time. Work Assignments will be developed over the course of the contract(s) with varying dates for milestones and deliverables depending on the scope. Contract(s) will be executed for a period of two (2) years, with the option to extend it up to an additional three (3) years.
