A certified check or cashiers check made payable to the order of the Borough of Hillsdale, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the bidder. The Borough reserves the right to reject any bid proposal not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S. 40A:11-1, et seq. (Local Public Contracts Law) as well as regulations set forth in the New Jersey Administrative Code (including but not limited to N.J.A.C. 7:26H-1 et seq., Solid Waste Utility Regulations) and the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S. 10:5-31(Law Against Discrimination), N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. (affirmative action) as well as all other applicable laws. Bid proposals must be placed in sealed envelopes addressed to the Borough of Hillsdale, 380 Hillsdale Avenue, Hillsdale, NJ 07642 and marked clearly on the outside of the envelope, lower left-hand corner: FURNISHING COLLECTION AND TRANSPORTATION TO A DESIGNATED DISPOSAL FACILITY OF GARBAGE, RECYCLABLES AND REFUSE The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the Borough.
