This project includes construction of four concrete sidewalks connecting four upper entrances of the large amphitheater to the existing concrete sidewalk north of the amphitheater. OF CONTRACT A. This project includes construction of four concrete sidewalks connecting four upper entrances of the large amphitheater to the existing concrete sidewalk north of the amphitheater. B. The work includes submitting a proposed lay out of four concrete sidewalks with smooth horizontal and vertical alignments. Grade and prepare native base. Concrete sidewalks shall have 5' width, 4" depth, 2% cross slope (max), and broomed finish with curing compound. Do not apply water to plastic concrete surfaces during finishing operations. Apply the curing compound at a minimum rate of 1 gallon per 150 square feet. Backfill to top of new sidewalks with excavated native material. C. Native base is to be compacted with water. Density tests are not required. The grade will be inspected for soft spots and accepted before concrete placement. Concrete testing per load will be required. D. There is existing lighting wiring around the amphitheater. Potholing may be required. Protecting the existing wiring is inclusive to the sidewalk's item. Wires damaged during construction shall be repaired by the contractor. E. Quantities associated with these options are identified in the Schedule of Items. 1.2 PROJECT A. The project is in the Spring Mountain National Recreation Area of the HumboldtToiyabe National Forest, Clark County, Nevada, in Section 21, T19S, R57E. It is approximately 20 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada. The project may be accessed from State Highway 157 09/12/2023 at 12:00 PM PT
