GENERAL : Architect-Engineering (A-E) services are required to design and deliver completed drawings, specifications, cost estimates, design analysis, and other design documents for the following project located at Joint Base McGuire, Dix, Lakehurst, New Jersey (McGuire campus). 2. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: Period from Award to Design Complete shall be 8.5 months. Place of shall be at Joint Base McGuire, Dix, Lakehurst (McGuire Campus). The project includes a complete HVAC replacement of all mechanical & electrical distribution system to provide a complete and functioning centralized forced air system. The building will require a full building automation and be attached to the base wide mechanical network. Controls are being monitor by Ameresco. They are a third-party company responsible for maintaining and monitoring equipment, energy usage and energy efficiencies for the McGuire campus. Collaborative effort with Ameresco will be required for this project. The building will require significant mechanical and electrical equipment removal and new equipment installation with ceiling work in the basement mechanical room. Period of : 260 days 3. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: 3.1. Project Description: The project involves the design to repair/replace existing major HVAC components at 87th CEG/HQ, B2401. There are outdate drawings for this building in PDF and can be provided upon request. The building receives chilled water from a centralized cooling tower on Base along with a few other facilities. The A-E shall survey the existing building for verification. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
