Demolition, site work and addition to a fire / police facility in Brighton, Illinois. Working plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of November 13, 2023, project will be put back to bid. Project will rebid on January 10, 2023. This is a Design-Build Project for the construction of a pole barn style addition at fire staOon#1 in Brighton, Illinois. The successful bidder will be responsible for the design and construction of the addition considering at least the following requirements 1) General Building Requirements: Bay floor dimensions of 48W x 76L and 16 High Walls. Built to the West of the existing building. Four (4) Bay Doors 12X14 and (2) Steel Man Doors with lites similar to existing doors .Proposal cost is to be based on both pole type construction or steel stran. The following items are also to be included in the bid for the work. A) On site management services-> B) Sealed architect/engineering plans and drawings-> C) All Associated Permits-> D) Testing soil compaction/concrete-> E) Project timeline and completion date-> F) Relocate (2) 12X12 Bay doors to South side of existing building, including all Electrical and Structural Modifications needed. Question Deadline 09/22/2023 at 4:00 PM CT The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids after evaluation of bids for either budgetary reasons, a change in the procurement plans of the District, or the failure of any or all bids to be non-responsive or not responsible as determined by the Board of Trustees.
