Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Warsaw, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 11,600-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project is generally described as the construction of an approximately 5,000 sq. ft., office/maintenance combo building and approximately 6,600 sq.ft. equipment storage building. The proposed new buildings are 1-story, C.M.U. walls with metal truss/asphalt shingle roof system. The work includes earthwork, storm water management, site utilities, paving, fencing and other appurtenances for a complete and operational facility. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. (When bid bonds are requested, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bond.)
