The work generally consist of the repairs and renovations to the interior of the Black Box Theater located within Building 100 due to the damage caused by Hurricane IDA. The replacement ofdamaged surfaces including ceiling,floors, stage lighting booths wood doors, interior observation windows and audience seating along with mechanical and electrical work. Sealed bids will be received by the Facilities Department for the Jefferson Parish School Board for Hurricane Ida Repairs to Black Box Theater at Bonnabel Magnet Academy High School. No bids may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least thirty (30) days. The Owner has the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities. Documents info : For additional sets of documents and for documents issued to subcontractors or material suppliers the cost for reproduction of each set will be deducted from the deposit and the balance refunded. Refunds will only be made for documents returned to the architect / engineer within ten (10) days after the opening of bids. Refunds will only be made on documents retuned complete, in good condition and unmarked. Sealed proposals shall be marked on the envelope cover, plainly and prominently with the following: a) bidder's name, address and telephone number b) State License Number of Contractor if the bid is in excess of $50,000.00 and c) the statement "Proposal for (project name and number)". Participation by minority and female-owned businesses, as well as businesses located in this Parish, is encouraged. The architect/engineer has classified this project as Interiors Repairs and Renovation.
