Projects A-Q all contain the following scope of work: cold milling pavement up to 2 inches, hot-mix asphalt (HMA) wedge and level (9.5mm), HMA surface up to 2 inches finished thickness, tack coat, HMA surface joint adhesive, HMA surface joint sealant, adjusting structure castings, adjusting water valve castings, thermoplastic buss strips, and pavement markings. See bid form and plans for project specific items, locations, and details Notice is hereby given that the Porter Co. Highway Department is seeking sealed bids for the project designated as 2023 Porter County Roadway Paving Project. The contract includes a total of seventeen Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) inlay and overlay projects labeled A-Q in various locations throughout Porter County. HMA paving projects will be milled 0.5-2.0 inches deep. HMA Wedge and level will be placed to improve the roadway cross section and weak locations. Tack coat will be applied. QC/QA-HMA, 2, 64, Surface, 9.5 mm or 12.5 mm shall be placed (project specific). Surface joint adhesive and liquid asphalt sealant shall be applied. Paint and Thermoplastic pavement markings shall be placed per the IMUTCD requirements.
