Plain Road Extension will be closed for culvert replacement. Emergency services only will have access. The Town of Hinsdale Water Dept. will be conducting our scheduled hydrant flushing during the nights of August 27th through Sept 1st, during the hrs of 9pm to 5am. RIVER ROAD CLOSURE - River Road is one lane traffic in the vicinity of the Highway Complex due to severe erosion from the Ashuelot River. We advise traffic to please detour Prospect Street to Stage Road for residents living on the westerly side of River Road. We are receiving funding through FEMA at 90%. We are working with FEMA with preparing to plan and implement River Road Slope and Road Repairs, and will begin construction in late spring/early summer of 2023.
