Renovation of a retail development in Kooskia, Idaho. Working plans call for the renovation of a retail development.
**As of May 29, 2024 project did not received bids. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid.** The Contractor shall replace the existing roof over the shop area. Remove existing roofing and sheathing, remove insulation, Mold remediation practices are required. Install: 3 Power Exhaust fans with timer controls on the south end of the building Install: 3 louvered screened vents on the North side of the shop. Install new R38 Insulation, New Titanium Underlayment, and New 5/8 OSB Sheathing. Evaluate current ceiling sheathing to determine if it needs a vapor barrier between the tin and truss's Also install, New 26 gage hidden fastener tin with one continuous run from the eve to the peak with approved hidden fasteners. All existing material except the tin will be disposed of at the contractor's expense. The appropriate Public Works Contractors license shall be required. Proof of Workman's Compensation coverage will also be required. A bid bond of 5% of the total bid shall be required at the time of bid opening. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
