PROJECT REQUIREMENTS: The prime contractor shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience in integrating controls into research greenhouse and supply references and prior project experience. The prime contractor shall have the expertise and manpower in house and therefore be able to self-perform this contract and will be responsible for solely self-performing this work and shall not contract the control upgrade out to a subcontractor. Provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to: Demolish existing controls system components that are not required for installation of new control system. Install new control system as specified below with defined components or approved superior products. This will include replacing the Argus Master Control, installing new software/firmware, install a new Weather Station, replacement of IO modules, control cards, and sensors. Our current system is a Titan Build 200 software/firmware with 5 zone controllers, 4 power supplies, 18 IO modules with assorted control cards (D2's, D4's, P1T IC (isolated commons), D2C's, P1T's), and 3 AMHB sensors. SELECT ARGUS HARDWARE WILL NOT BE REPLACED AND WILL BE IDENTIFIED BY THE LAB TO REMAIN IN SERVICE. Due to the proprietary nature of the existing system, all proprietary components and equipment needed for the new system will need to be sourced from Argus to successfully integrate upgrades into the existing system. Installation of the new upgraded system shall be coordinated with Lab personnel and the work shall not interfere with ongoing research.
