Inc Contractor Awarded Address: Dracut, MA 01826 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $45,459.00 This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E523Q0027 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238190 - Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors which has a size standard of $19M. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, New Hampshire requires a Contractor to level and treat approximately 1.900 square feet of CRREL's Cold Room Complex's existing floor with a urethane-cement mix that is level with one polyapaspartic topcoat so that it is level, protected (i.e., water-proof and impact resistant), and protective of items rolling over it or dropped upon it. Requirement: The existing flooring is located at CRREL's Cold Room Complex which is near current research areas. Therefore, the Contractor shall preclude any dust arising from the treatment from entering the laboratory breathing spaces. This could be accomplished by preparing the with a combination of plastic sheeting, or another industry standard approach, to isolate the area to be treated and filtration to remove dust particles from the immediate area of any grinding. The Contractor shall: Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the tasks in their entirety. Treat the floor with specified eurothane-cement mix ensuring the finished product is level with one (and only one) polyapaspartic topcoat. Colored paint chips must have 100% coverage with 40% of the paint chips white and 60% paint chips "frank blue". Complete work in such a manner that researcher access to the cold boxes is restricted for no more than one week or in a phased approach so at least one cold box is always accessible. Once completed, all Contractor-Owned tools and equipment used, and dirt and debris resulting from the treatment shall be removed from premises. Please reference the attached RFQ for instructions and applicable provisions and clauses. Factors used to evaluate the award include: 1) Technical capability to provide the requested services and incidental supplies, 2) proposed delivery schedule, and 3) Price. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the Best Value to the Government, in consideration of all factors. The basis for award will be a technically acceptable proposal, the price of which may not be the lowest. FOB Destination: CRREL, 72 Lyme Road, Hanover, New Hampshire 03755-1290. Terms: Net 30 : Contractors are encouraged to inspect the where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract .
