Reference Number 0000329099 Colorado School of Mines is seeking design services for a Capital Maintenance (CM) project on campus in Alderson Hall (CO). Alderson Hall has large laboratory exhaust loads served by fans that are beyond their useful life. Fans, stacks, and supporting structure are old, rusted, and need to be replaced. This project will design the replacement of the fans and greatly increase the reliability of the lab exhaust system, and the safety for students, faculty, and staff, who use and maintain them. The project will provide new exhaust fans, new stacks, motors, controls, and variable frequency drives. Existing exhaust fans will be abated and disposed of appropriately.
