This project is funded in part with funds offered by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). Prior to Bidding, Subcontractors utilized for DBE Goals must appear on the MoDOT/Kansas City Approved DBE List and on the MoDOT DBE Director All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher. Sec 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2016 Edition will be waived for this project. Each bidder must certify that it is not presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible or voluntarily excluded from covered transactions by any federal agency. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid price shall be submitted with each bid. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
