Site work for a water / sewer project in Bivalve, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
replace 370' of Bulkheading, Piles and Finger Piers, slips 61-90 The last day for questions will be noon on Thursday, September 28, 2023. 1. Piles a. All pile replacement will be done in a way to keep the boat slips as existing and the widths the same from front to back. b. The pile elevation will be left approximately 6' above the catwalk elevation. c. Amy piles that are broken off during removal shall be cut off the mudline. 2. Finger Piers (14 need to be replaced.) a. Old finger piers shall be removed and disposed of. b. All finger piers will be rebuilt as before with the use of a 5/8 double dipped galvanized domed bolt securing the stringers to the pile. c. Countersunk holes shall be just enough so that the nut does not protrude the hole. d. Boards are to be cup side down. e. The length of the piers is 10' 3. The contractor will be responsible for removal of all debris. 4. Replace hardware and fasteners as needed as per material specifications. 5. There is no electric or water service to this section of the Marina. 6. The utilizes in this area consist of electric to the DP&L lights. This will be marked prior to the start of work
