This specification describes the requirements to provide a qualified contractor to perform full maintenance and repairs as necessary on all Overhead Doors, and repairs to overhead doors and other entrance doors on an "as-needed basis." at MDOT SHA facilities located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. This proposal will establish hourly rates and material mark-up percentages. Quantities listed are estimated for the purpose of bid evaluation and may not represent actual quantities experienced upon commencement of the contract. The Glen Burnie Maintenance Facility has an approximate total of twenty-five (25) overhead doors and approximately thirteen (13) entrance doors and the Stoney Creek facility has zero (0) overhead doors and one (1) entrance door. to be covered under this agreement. All overhead doors are sectional overhead doors on tracks. Pricing for this work shall be a lump sum for the preventative maintenance work at both locations as described herein and time and material pricing for repairs and emergency service. The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and methods of communication for work performed under the Contract. The Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is soliciting bids on a two (2) year contract for a contractor to provide preventative maintenance service, repairs (replacement), and emergency services, as outlined in this IFB to the overhead doors and entrance doors at the Glen Burnie Maintenance. The work under this contract shall include, but not be limited to, the furnishings of all labor, materials, equipment, ladders, scaffolds, hoists, services, and any other equipment necessary to satisfactorily execute and complete the project in full compliance with the Contract requirements.
