General work description: Yuba County Public works is soliciting proposals for public education and outreach activities at Cedar Lane Elementary School, within the community of West Linda, California. Scope of tasks include management and coordination of meetings, printing and disseminating training and informational resources, and conducting student and parent engagement. The purpose is to to facilitate safe pedestrian transportation with regards to walking and bicycling to/from, and around the school while Yuba County performs road improvements in the vicinity. Dissemination materials / deliverables will include printed notes, maps, photos, reports, handouts, flyers, surveys and summary of results. Yuba County Public Works is performing roadway construction on Cedar Lane and Alicia Ave which front Cedar Lane Elementary School. Due to the proximity of the works project to the school, safety is a primary concern and will be emphasized during the course of the proposed project.
