This is an invitation to submit a sealed bid for the furnishing of supplies, equipment and/or services subject to the terms and conditions and special instruction of this bid. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 9/6/2023 04:30:00 PM (ET) Q&A Addendum Issue Date: September 8, 2023 In default of the performance of any of the conditions to be performed by the person or persons making this bid, the undersigned bidder agrees that the certified check or bid bond herewith deposited with the OWNER shall be paid and delivered to the OWNER as liquidated damages of such default. The certified checks or bid bonds of the remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned within 48 hours after the execution of a Contract between the Town and the successful bidder; the certified check or bid bond of the successful bidder will be retained until the filing and approval of the performance bond and until the completion of 10% of the work under the Contract. The Town of Brookhaven reserves the right to reject and declare invalid any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received, all in the best interests of the Town. The Town of Brookhaven welcomes and encourages minority and women-owned businesses and HUD Section 3 businesses to participate in the bidding process.
