As of December 23, 2024, the master plan is underway. A firm timeline for completed documents and contractor bidding have not been disclosed. The City of Corcoran is accepting proposals and qualifications for Master Park Planning and Design Services. All proposals shall include hard copies, as well as an electronic copy. The City of Corcoran reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any formalities, and to make the award that is in the best interests of the group. City of Corcoran desires a long-term relationship for this program and will maintain so, as long as cost and services are satisfactory. The CITY is issuing this Request for Proposals and Qualifications (RFPQ) to consultants interested providing park master planning and design services. The selected consultant will work in concert with City staff to provide assistance on the following: City Park Remaster Project Open Space Parks Future Park Development Consultant(s) shall provide services including: • Park design services • Master park/trail planning • Prepare materials for park projects (specific and generic) • Amenities: Playgrounds, boardwalks, trails and connections, etc. • Work with the City’s engineering team for engineering features including: • Transportation Design (trails, sidewalks, traffic control devices, etc.) • Stormwater Drainage Analysis and Design • Utilities Design (water and wastewater) Consultant(s) may be required to perform site visits, document site observations, participate in progress meetings, provide reports to the CITY, verify compliance with specifications, and other services to support quality assurance efforts.
