Renovation of a military facility in Galveston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no other written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, (FAR Part 36) evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is 70Z02923QNEWO0000025 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Rates for Construction are included in this order and are applicable. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR Part 36, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR Part 36 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR Part 36, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR Part 36. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter" or a derivative of that word. This is a small business set aside, the applicable NAICS code is 283160 and small business size standard is 16.5K This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Service Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price, Evaluation Process: The quote will be evaluated to determine technical acceptability and a fair and reasonable price. Offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management www.Sam.Gov. The U.S. Coast Guard Contractor shall Repair Roofs Service UPH Building Services. Please see the attached Statement of Work for specifications of work. 30 DAY ARO FOB Destination to: U.S. Coast Guard Base Galveston 3000 FT Point Rd. Galveston, TX 77550-3289 FAR 52.237-1 -- (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract , to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. This is a solicitation to repair Roof Repair for Service UPH Building Services. This solicitation is set aside for an Small Business firm using NAICSs Code of 238160 with a size standard of 16.5K The of Construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Federal Acquisition Regulation Clauses and Department of Labor rates for construction are included in this solicitation and are applicable. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. The Contractor to supply all plant, labor, materials, and equipment: o All materials, supplies, and equipment (MES) must be new. The Contractor shall not re-use any existing MSE, unless directed to by the SOW. o Provide supervision to ensure United States Coast Guard Standards are met for Quality and Safety. o Maintain a clean working area. o Protect adjacent areas during roof eave repairs/replacement. o Provide signage to clearly indicate the area is under construction. o Remove and disposal of all damaged roof eave soffit, approximately 109' of soffit. o Clean and prepare existing eave soffits from any old sealants / attachment hardware and nonbonding inhabitants as needed to be able to apply new materials. o Apply approximately 109' correct soffit materials and high- attachment hardware. o Ensure soffits have complete coverage. o Apply all new soffit to match existing soffit/wall color. Section 6 of this SOW displays the damaged eave soffit locations
