Site work for a civil project in Aberdeen, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Per Addendum 3- Bid Date Extended The work consists of the replacement of four (4) dry pit raw sewage pumps, and the construction of a new electrical building, panelboard, Variable Frequency Drives with Solid State Reduced Voltage bypass, Closed-Circuit Television system, site work, etc. at the Moore Co. Water Pollution Control Plant located at 1094 Addor Road, Aberdeen, NC. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Terra Vuncannon at tvuncannon@moorecountync.gov no later than 10:00 AM EST, 2023 in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received after 10:00 AM Thursday September 21st, 2023, may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina for the type of work required. Bids will be received on a unit price or lump sum basis as described in the Contract Documents. The work is to commence within 15 days after the Date of Contract. Completion of the work is as required in the contract documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the total Bid must accompany each Bid. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of 60 days after the date fixed for opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to select alternatives, to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids.
