Replacement of the building digital direct control system (DDC) for Building 10. Replacement will require modification to existing air handling units, replacement of terminal air conditioning units, and a new DDC front end and operator workstation. The project replaces approximately 239 parallel fan powered VAV boxes, 104 single duct VAV boxes, 14 fan coil units, and controllers for 6 air handling units. The Contractor is required to furnish to the Engineer, on a weekly basis at the project's progress meetings, a 3-week look ahead schedule. The schedule must show planned activities in sufficient detail to allow proper monitoring of the planned construction activities. The City of Virginia Beach, Virginia will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all equipment, labor and material, and the performing of all work for the above described project. The Bidder shall include in its bid or proposal its identification number issued by the Virginia State Corporation Commission or a statement describing why it is not required to be so authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth.
